Jim Carrey is leading candidate to star in 'The Beaver'

Jim Carrey is now a leading candidate to star in The Beaver, a much-buzzed dramedy about a man and a beaver puppet, while Jodie Foster is being considered as a potential director, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Newcomer Kyle Killen's script for The Beaver has topped the so-called "Black List" of the best unproduced projects in Hollywood. Last year, it was reported that Steve Carell was attached to star.
