Comedy in General.........

Postby fluffy » Tue Dec 06, 2005 10:07 pm

So what's happening on the chuckles front in your 'neck of the woods'.?

In the UK it's actually a bit quiet at the moment......
we do have 'Little Britain' which i'm warming to. I love Peter Kay in the 'Road to no-where'.......but i'm not so fond of pheonix nights..........i'm not so fond of Catherine Tate either i'm afraid......
The comedy scene does seem a little staid at the moment in the UK....and i find Ricky Gervais dull...........

We used to have some great female comediennes but they seem to have semi-retired........lol............

and i'd love to know how British humour translates to the states.......and if you have any British female comediennes over there?.......

lol..........and if not, lets start an international, duel sexed chuckles think tank..........

and um......can i be in it pleeeeeese??....lol

ok.......so who's HOT with you?

Fluffy

Dane Cook was on SNL last week and I was crying with laughter! It was the best SNL start to finish that I've seen in a long time. Did anyone else watch it? The sweater sketch, the drama kids acting out the school daily bulletin and the Target skit were my highlights...

**EDITED**

I found some online videos of his stand-up, check out the one called "Dane Cook on bathrooms"

I they like the British comedies. When it was small and appeared in the television "THAMES" we ran toward the television set because that signified a good series. Now each time that see that symbol and that special melody I touch me and the fact is that there they are replacement the series George and Mildred, and to my I love, causes laughs me a lot.
