Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Shut your eyes, let your mind wander.........breathe deeply....go to your happy place............where are you??
i'll start In Italy there's a Lake called Lake Orta up in the mountains not far from Lake Maggiore.......
I fell in love with that place one summers day..........the air was moist and warm. The golden light danced on the lake waters, the birds sang and i was moved at the beauty of the place.
Or being 5, listening to Frank Sinatra in the car with my grandpa down at the beach as we ate ice-cream...........that's a special memory.....
where's your happy place??

I love this topic!
I have a few.
At home, my bathtub filled with scented bubbles.
A short distance from my home is a park with a pond. I love to go there in the evening (glooming, when the sky and water turn golden) and the birds, geese, ducks and fish come alive. The fish begin to leap out of the water. And you don't have to buy a ticket to enjoy it!
There' a restaurant in Malibu with the best food I've ever tasted, excellent service and a wonderful view of the ocean. Heaven on earth!
Even if my travelling doesn't require it, I will take a detour, and make a point to go there.

In the summertime after I put my daughter to bed I like to sit on my porch and drink ice coffee while listening to music softly.

I like seaside, only it's so far -> 5 hour in the train.

I'm happy if I just have a bit of "me" space and can close my eyes and disappear into my own thoughts. Doesn't really matter where I physically am.
But if you push me:
I can relate to what Cotton says. In the summer (bearing in mind I'm in England, the land of temperamental weather!), when my son's in bed, I head out back and sit on our little wooden bench, with the subtle outdoor lighting creating a nice ambience, glass of red wine in hand....I'll sit and just stare up at the stars and drift. Heaven.
Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!

I take the sea for granted because Aberdeen is on the coast........but i'd really miss living beside the sea........there's nothing more beautiful than watching the sun dapple the sea whilst walking on the sand.........

Speaking of clouds...
On an airplane in flight, around sunset, looking out the window at the pillows and towers and rolling knolls of clouds is just sublime.

I just thought, my happy place USED to be in front of the piano.

LOL, well I'm not for the whole shutting your eyes and pretending to be at some other place, but just for the fun of it, I did so... and right as I did, my cat jumped on my face.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
