The last thing I saw there was an efficiency...and it was depressing. It looked like a surgery suite and was really terrible.
So today I went and looked at a one bedroom. I was kind of dreading it...after the last experience I had.
It was a complete shock to find there are 4 separate rooms (counting the bathroom). A large living room, a fair sized bedroom and a totally adorable kitchen. The apartment has hardwood floors. And it has a TON of storage space. So, I'm really overjoyed with it. Seriously, I had tears in my eyes when I was looking at it. I took grandma so she could see and she was extremely happy. And my mom just loved it.
So I've brought my mom back to my cousin's because I want to buy a few things at the JC Penny outlet here. And I have to arrange for others to come and feed the cat after we go.
So mom's happy in the armchair....but confuggled by the fact that my cousin doesn't have cable so there's no MSNBC. (My mom has some brain damage, but she's able to get around.)
Anyway, that's the latest. I'm really overjoyed with the apartment and lucky to have this month with my mom.....even though she does occasionally treat me like the serving girl..."Could you get me some water? Can you bring me my purse?" Oh well....I'm so lucky she's even alive...so I do it.
Right now the cat wants to jump in her lap....and she doesn't want the cat in her lap. And dang! She just told the cat no and it worked!!!
..........that's just mean!......
