Well, after a certain point. Depression is a human emotion. But yeah, if it lasts too long, or becomes unbearable. Call the doctor.
What am I saying. Quirky's read all the books. She could shoot me down. Oh well.
Artist: Sarah McLachlan Lyrics
Song: Angel Lyrics Spend all your time waiting for that second chance For the break that will make it OK There's always some reason to feel not good enough And it's hard at the end of the day I need some distraction or a beautiful release Memories seep from my veins Let me be empty and weightless and maybe I'll find some peace tonight In the arms of the Angel far away from here From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn There's vultures and thieves at your back The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies That you make up for all that you lack It don't make no difference, escaping one last time It's easier to believe In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness That brings me to my knees In the arms of the Angel far away from here From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie In the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here "When in doubt, tell the truth."
Mark Twain

I love "what if god was one of us" ! It make me think of Jim Carrey.. you know when he sings that in the movie
........."If God had a name what would it be? And would you call it to his face? If you were faced with him In all his glory What would you ask if you had just one question? *And yeah, yeah, God is great Yeah, yeah, God is good Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us Just a stranger on the bus Trying to make his way home If God had a face what would it look like? And would you want to see If seeing meant that you would have to believe in things like heaven and in Jesus and the saints and all the prophets (*) .................." "And thats the way the cookie crumbles"
I just read this thread.....I'm sure there are other songs that have made me cry but Jimenem's "Concrete Angel" is definitely one I would agree with! My daughter and I were in the car, stopped in the parking lot when I heard the song for the first time. Tears were streaming down my face as my daughter patiently waited for me to get through the song....it finished, we giggled over "mom's bein' emotional", I locked and shut the car door and then realized -- I had left the keys in the ignition!
And I have done that too....Only at the gas station, filled it up, went to pay, came back, realized I automatically had locked my door, thankfully, there were some good samaritan heroes and aided me in my dilema, whew, thank goodness!
I'm so thankful guys are so technical and can figure these things out, truly, men are a necessity, they always know how to get out of a tight spot.
Billy Joel Lyrics
Song: Lullaby (Good Night My Angel) Lyrics *Verse 1* Good night my angel time to close you eyes And save these questions for another day I think I know what you've been asking me I think you know what I've been trying to say I promised I would never leave you And you should always know Where ever you may go No matter where you are I never will be far away *Verse 2* Good night my angel now it's time to sleep And still so many things I want to say Remember all the songs you sang for me When we went sailing on an emerald bay And like a boat out on the ocean I'm rocking you to sleep The water's dark and deep Inside this ancient heart You'll always be a part of me (Musical Bridge) Do do do do... *Verse 3* Goodnight my angel now it's time to dream And dream how wondeful your life will be Someday your child will cry and if you sing this lullaby Then in your heart there will always be a part of me Someday we'll all be gone But lullabies go on and on They never die that's how you and I will be "When in doubt, tell the truth."
Mark Twain
