i just need to get something off my chest.....Last spring i met this girl(we'll call her J) through a friend....she was very beautiful......the first time i got a chance to chat with J, and find out what she is about, was at a friends band concert in SF.......after a while we started to hang out more but not exactly dating(even though my friends keep thinking i was).......so i figure i might have a shot in asking her to go out with me......then she tells me that she got off a wierd relationship and doesn't want to be tied down with someone right now......that really didn't bother me......so i did what I felt was the best option, which was back off for a little while and see what happens......well after a while i try keep more in contact with her by calling her, and u know talk,.........well here in lies the problem.......after trying to call her to see whats up and if she wanted to do something, i find out from her friend(the sameone who introduce me to J) that she either doesn't feel like picking up her cell phone, automatically deletes her messages without listening to them or keeps her phone off....the phone off part i don't mind 'cause u need to save ur batteries before it dies on u....after finding this out i just through my hands up and said "I give up"....i told my friend that i would stay friends with J, whenever i do see her but i just won't try calling her anymore.....well since then i haven't seen her or heard from her.....but for some reason i just can't stop thinking about her.....whether i am sleeping or daydreaming at work, i just keep thinking about my time with J.....it is as if she put some kind of spell on me....

Well thats all i needed to say. I just gald i could get it out there and out of my mind.

Sounds like she's too nice to come out with saying she's not interested. Whenever someone comes up with lame excuses like that, then lack of interest is usually the case.

You're probably attracted to her physically, which is whyyou can't get her out of your head. But do you have anything in common with her? do you iknow what kinds of things she's interested in?

If you find out there are things that you have in common, give it another shot, but use that angle. If you're a baseball fan, and so is she, then go to a baseball game. If you both like the same group. try to get tickets. Etc.

If she still can't get her cell phone to work, then you can just say "hasta la vista, baby."

Your soul mate is still out there looking for you. Don't waste your time on this one.

That sucks. I know how you feel.

You WILL get over her. It may take a while. I go through phases of thinking about people constantly, but it does wear off, however much it hurts to think about them at the time. You can look back and have a laugh about it. There's one person, whom I still talk to, and I feel nothing. It's SO weird.
Not seeing them helps a LOT. Cos it's easier to not think about them.

My daughter rang up a big bill and it took ages to pay it off. I decided then I didn't need a phone soooooo... for a a few years I didn't have one I just go on the computer and email people... why have a phone if it isn't a necessity, my fiance gave me the cell but I always forget to put time on my phone or to turn it on because of my bad memory... somehow I just end up phoning people at the right moment when they want to talk to me, and when my fiance wants to talk to me he puts money on the phone. When I want to talk to my kids, I put time on and call them right then and there or I buy a phone card. I figure no one else would want to call me other than my family. She may be just like me a very forgetful blonde.

thanks everyone.....i am starting to get over her....to be honest....i went through this before with another friend whom i had a crush on, but it wore off and i am jusr friends with her.......i like to think we did have some things in common but other than that i realize that she was a bit of a filrt.....its always the beautiful ones, lol.

Honestly i wouldn't try to put my cell phone into anything because it is screwed up enough as it is. lol.
