A little nat

Ugh, this is sad...

I was brushing my teeth the other night... as I was putting my toothbrush up, I looked down into the sink... and there drowning in a small portion of water was a nat. That was about the third time its happened my whole life, and usually I would just wash them down the drain. But... thanks to my curiosity, I stared at it too long... and realized that the poor little thing's life was about to be ended if I didn't save it.
For some reason... I didn't kill it. It crawled on my finger, I laid it on the counter... and went on about my normal life.
Its been on my sink's counter for almost five days. It can't fly, it just walks around all sad-like. It almost drowned again yesterday, but I noticed and saved it again. I even put lettuce up there for it

I feel so sorry for this little thing. I've even named it now, lol. But something inside me wishes that someone would go in there and smash the thing and not tell me about it. I don't like having a responsibility over a nat. I wouldn't kill it because I didn't save it by what was GOING to happen, to kill it by my own hand.

Darie. Its ridiculous. I don't know if its a boy or a girl... or if they even have a gender...lol. I named it that because it goes for Darla and Darren. I guess.

Ants bite, and they are tiny. I'd more than likely have an allergic reaction, since I'm allergic to practically everything.
