well this came up yesterday when were fooling around and i realised, for the first time in my life, that i can do a decent Irish accent.........my Australian is appallingly bad and my American accent makes me sound like Calamity Jane apparently........think USA circa 1850........lol.....'Yee Haa!!!'.........lol.........
My Italian and French ones are reasonably good too.........but i don't actually understand the Italian.....i speak a little French, enough to get by.......
ok which accents can you do??

I used to have a good Spanish accent when I was at school, but I can't do it now.
My american is appalling, as is my French.
Although it's not foreign, I'm trying to perfect a Brummie accent, and did a great job the other day - it's getting better!

My 'North American' is not so bad (though you note I won't define myself to particular area/state!!). I once went out for a whole evening and pretended to be an American and no-one challenged me. (The fun you have sometimes...)
I think I have a feel for Australian. Have been accused (that is probably not the right word, is it? ) of being one on my travels. Do I somehow look like one, or can people just not define my voice when I talk??
And I'm practising my cockney because I think it's a fun accent to do.
Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!

Gosh, I struggle with English- And I was born in the US. I am forever switching words and messing up names. I start talking too fast and my nouns and consenants get tangles up! (Brain goes faster than my mouth) I love to listen to accents, but forget me ever speaking them. I learned French in school, I can read it... but speaking (God help us all)

I used to have an american accent from watching the english channel in Hong Kong, now that I'm in Australia, I'm a full on aussie accent.
I can do a half-decent British accent, a little Indian, I can't do the american one anymore
