All I wanted was to do a little shopping before moving...
1) Toilet overflowed and plumber coming at SOME point.
2) Mom is throwing up.
3)
4)
5)
See 3,4,&5 later...I'd have made it up to ten....but the day can only be SO long.

No. She had sausage eggs and toast for breakfast.
But if it was my cooking, I'd be sick too.

I feel like I'm living an episode of "I Love Lucy."
3) Went to store and got Dr. Pepper, videos and chicken noodle soup for mom.
Opened Dr. Pepper and it overflowed all over the counter.
Anyone seen Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants?
Weird movie name...I've always laundered my pants before they got the urge to travel.

4) Toilet started overflowing AGAIN. Plunging doesn't work. Still no word from plumber.

Murphey's Law, what a concept. Sometimes, just for fun I like to play the odds. Watch how if I'm in a hurry, traffic snarls and I miss every light! Or, I always pick the wrong line in a grocery store and the items that don't have a bar code/price tag on it "Price Check!" Just breath, enjoy the person behind the register, or in back of you in the checkout stand. Its going to be a long day. (Trick: Don't sweat the small stuff, the more you complain the worst it gets. Its God's sense of humor, he's teasing you and teaching you patience!)

Well...I had seafood chowder in the freezer. She's eating it now and has pronounced it "perfect". So, I think she'll recover.

Well God was having a good belly laugh with me today...and if he can manage to tease the bill collectors and teach them some patience, I may still have the ability to appreciate the joke in the end.

Geez, I wish I could help you Laura!
It pisses me off that I went down the path I did when I could have taken a different path that was all about money.

The garden path looks good, but there's also a lot of work involved.
Seriously, I have met a number of cool people online and many with financial difficulties....if I ever hit the lotto....provided I had enough, I'd be giving it away.
