Canada Votes Today on the 23rd.

I voted, for all those Canadians out there, I hope you will too.
Sometimes one has to choose the greater of the three, or the
lesser of three evils.
Several people say they won't vote, because there is no one to
choose, but sometimes it's better to make a choice than not,
I sure hope they do.
I'm eating crow, the weather is excellent for people to get out and
vote.

Mr Harper is in.
I missed Jay and Conan because of the polls.
But hey, it's a new day today.
I wonder if Canada is going to be any different than before.
We shall see.

I was listening to the result, and what implications it may have, on the radio over here. All change indeed.

You do right to vote. Even when I get disgruntled and annoyed at all politicians, I will always vote. If you don't then you can't really moan about what happens afterwards. IMHO. People die for the right to be able to vote in some parts of the world, and back over time too. To sit at home and waste that, well, it is just terrible.

I can understand it, I don't encourage it, but I don't condemn either, if you don't believe in any of them how can you choose.
"I wish they had a section where you vote and say...

"I don't believe any candidate will represent my views and requests"
Perhaps that will give the government an idea of why people don't vote.
Or even a "Comment line"

If you don't agree with any of them, and want to make some sort of protest.....then you still go to the ballot box, but you just 'spoil' the paper. It registers a disgruntled voter. Better than sitting at home and no-one knowing what you think. That's more like apathy.
