I had a wierd dream about the Number 23!

Postby omnipresence » Mon Jul 24, 2006 12:59 pm

I had this really wierd dream last night about the number 23. I dreamt that I was watching the no.23 in the cinema. It was really wierd because it was actually Jim looking like he did in the on set pictures that are on the forum. But, he was on a submarine. And he was just trying to get through a huge storm. Nothing like the actuall film :D.

Another thing was that fluffy was in the same cinema  . When we left the cinema we both gave the film a rating of 10. Then I woke up again :D. Fell asleep again. And me and fluffy were rowing a boat towards my house. Wierd! :?

What makes this more wierd is that the film isnt out yet and I dont even know what fluffy looks like :D And there was no reason to be rowing to my house :)

Don't you just hate those kinds of dreams where you see someone you've never met. :?

all the best dreams end that. when it starts to get good, u end up waking up and don't know if u will have the same dream again when u go back to sleep.

Sounds like an inspiration for a script-write it!

I agree with the script idea....especially because there is huge symbolism there: if Jim were actually on a submarine, he could weather ANY storm if he was submerged (and I know this from the minimal experience I had being with a submariner for 23 years (freaky!))....quite a metaphor for life, huh....?

I agree. I tend to find that when you try to have a dream you never do. Also something else about dreams is that you allways have them in the ten minutes before you wake up.

speaking of dreams, I had one in 2000 that was so vivid it scared the crap out of me, and I shared it with my co-workers the next day. In the dream, I was standing next to a tree in the woods, near a pavilion with chairs set up in rows.
My boss at the time was throwing yellow darts at the employees, hitting them in the chest and of course killing them one by one....I was the only one she hadn't hunted down and tied to the chair by then.
Even weirder, in my dream the only other person who could stop her (who actually still works there) was named Vito Corleone (only in my dream...his name is different in reel life) - and I have NEVER watched the Godfather.....in fact, at that point I didn't even know where the name came from....!
Anyway, just as I realized I had to go find him to stop her, I woke up.....whew.

I had a really fun one once. I was working in a Buger bar and me and a random oher person were suddenly on the run from the FBI. In the end I get shot in the head. It didnt hurt though. I ended up being employed by a criminal, as a hitman. It was exciting. :D

with 23 other people. I think the film might do things like that. They'll just keep hiding 23 in different places like on calenders. And have channel 23 on the TV.
