I guess people who happen to be gay always where able to laugh at themselves. That's not the problem, not at all. But that's not the issue here. What I personally am tired of, is the fact that most of the comedic movies about gays give us those characters with pink shoes, high voices and girly moves. Okay, in the right hands and with the right actors that could be funny! (The Birdcage) I guess with these talents 'Morris' can be one of those hilarious movies. So, I have absolutely nothing against it.
But that's kinda what we always get, isn't it? And besides, in a time where sexual prefs don't matter ... where are those flicks with characters 'who happen to be gay', without the stereotypes?
A comedy with two men who just happen to be gay, would be about two normal guys without all those little thingies that just happen to love eichother - in a movie with comedians (who just happen to be gay in the flick) with a very funny script. That's what I want to see for once, that would be original. Like 'Kissing Jessica Stein' or 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' was, kinda. It would be refreshing to see something like that ...
Just to make clear, I have nothing against these pictures, these characters, this movie or anyone involved. And I'm not judging it. I was talking about funny movies with gay people in it.
Ow, I thought Brokeback Mountain was great!
*sorry for my bad english, there are a few words that I don't know how to write.

i guess we'll have to wait and see just how much they camp it up..........lol...
re Brokeback.......we've had loads of 'coming out' films and dramas in the UK over the years so i guess i was comparing it to those.....
stuff like 'Another Country, Maurice and Queer as Folk.....which i think handled it better..........but each to their own......

I’ve seen the boat pictures in another order, and to me it looks like they were, ahem, “kissing”, and Jim tripped in his own pants and fell backward. Then he held up his legs going, “A little help?” and Ewan helped him put them back on.

So hold on..... Is Jim going to look like that in the movie?????? Or is it him just dressing up to reserach his role. I thought he'd look a little better. I mean I like him, but the hair should be more natural...

But really most men are quite comfortable in the buff.
Especially on a fishing boat, when there are no bathrooms.
I think it would be funnier trying to put a wet suit on in a teeny tiny boat like that esp if there were a few more people on it.
Personally I'd just jump in the water and put it on but since we don't have sharks in the Great Lakes it's easy then, but in Florida you'd have to put it on on the boat, I would think.

Kinda heavy I would think!
All those folds, but you could stuff your rock finds into the kilt instead of having a carry bag, or you could just blow the kitlt up with air and have it bring you to the surface.
Hey maybe in the pic he fell head first into
the portable toilet, it's possible!
What do you think?
