I like the poster....but what I like best is it's all coming to fruition and that
we have heard now some small morsel on it's progress. Keep it comin. Sing it with me: "Keep it comin love, keep it comin love"
Poster looks great! My only complaint is that Jim's name isn't on it! If the studio is willing to promote a big movie like this, they should not only include the director's name, but also their big star. Fortunately, we already knew way back in advance that Jim was in it, so we should have no problem!
"Snakes! Why it had to be snakes?"
-Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
7 CHARACTERS?! What the hell? This is going to be worse than Lemony Snicket! Everyone's going to be like "TOO MUCH Jim Carrey!" I mean, Lemony Snicket was a bit much.
Sorry I'm an admirer but I don't even want to see this with Jim in it if he's going to be doing 7 characters. Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much.
Ok Jim plays : little Scrooge and adult Scrooge , 3 ghosts(present, past and future)...and ???
I'm Dumb and I'm proud! :_D
Because it's not necessary and wouldn't make a difference. It's motion capture, what means that Jim Carrey only does the moves (he's the king in that) and the voice. They can make the characters look anyway they want on the outside ... so casting some creepy people has no point. Also, I don't think they would cast (and pay) someone extra when they have a talented actors that can take more than one role.
@ TNPihl, with pleasure.
I think this one is going to be an epic...New and very interesting...
Re: I think this one is going to be an epic...
Not realy. It's new for Jim Carrey, but Zemeckis has don 'The Polar Express' and 'Beowulf' in that way. Also, 'Happy Feet' and 'Monster House' were like that and just remember Gollem in 'Lord of the Rings' and 'King Kong'. The only thing I'm worried about is the quality. I don't think it was done right in 'Polar' or 'Beowulf' or 'Happy Feet'. The techniques weren't good enough ... I hope the don't try to make the characters realistisc and take it the other way (like Monster House) to make it work.
