In Belgium 'Yes Man' opened with $587,538 in the first week. (December 31–January 4) It didn't beat 'Madagascar 2' (5th week), but became second in the list. And it got past 'Loft', the movie that is still at number 3 in the 11th (!) week.

The first early estimates are ready, not the best weekend! "Yes Man" will gross around $6.1 million this weekend (lost 479 theaters) which will bring the total to $89.5 Million Domestic. Good that "Yes Man" still is in Top 10. Within the next 2-4 weeks it will cross the $100 million mark.
"Yes Man" opened at the top spot in these countries:
Australia, East Africa, Finland, Iceland, New Zealand, Nigeria, Sweden, United Kingdom
Worldwide gross: $122,710,000

As it really had a much bigger than expected fall during it's 4th weekend with an estimated $6.2 Million. Infact all the old releases suffered steep drops from last weekend. It's really making it tough on itself to now cross the magical $100 Million Doemstically especially with 4 New Movies coming out next weekend which means a substantial amount of losses in it's number of screens as well.
The Good News is next week is the four-day Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend in North America which means it should have a strong Sunday & Monday which should give it a much needed boost. It needs to make atleast $3.8 Million for the 4 days next weekend and it'll get there but anything less than that will put a serious dent on it's hope of reaching the $100 Million Mark.
Warner Bros Pictures International's Jim Carrey comedy Yes Man soldiered on in Europe despite severe weather and earned a further $12m from approximately 2,489 screens in 35 markets for an early $50m running total.
It opened in second place in Italy on $3.1m and launched at number one in Holland on $799,000 from 88. Excluding previews. The film also delivered a pair of number one debuts in Greece and Thailand.
After two weekends the film remains strong at number one in Australia as $1.7m from 255 raised the tally to $5.9m. It also stayed top in its second weekend in Belgium on $345,000 from 60 for $1m. In the third weekend in the UK, Yes Man added $1.6m from 467 prints for $12.5m.
Overseas it's looking like "Yes Man" will certainly exceed Fun with Dick and Jane's gross and will cross the $100 Million Mark there with many important Territories including France, German, Mexico & Russia among others still left.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.
