but it's such a romantic wee film the sex of the individuals becomes irrelevant..........at least that's how i felt.......

Yeah that's true lol. I was gonna mention it but then the ppl that say it's Ewan and Jim are going at it are still wrong...it's some other dude! But I agree the movie itself is romantic and sweet for the most part. It has little razor sharp edges that make you gasp in surprise and make it more exciting but mostly it's a romantic comedy. A very unique romantic comedy!

indeed....... ........it's by no means gratuitous, it's funny........i especially loved the "Yahoooo's!!" and the spanking......
plus it's that hairy bloke who helps him later on in an escape so it's a relevant scene.........
lol.........i honestly can't witter on enough about how much i love this wee film ........it's in my top 5 Jim films now.....it's one of his best

The good thing about this new US-date is the fact that Jim now can be nominated for the MTV Movie Awards 2011. I think the following categories might be possible :

- Best Comedic Performance - Jim Carrey
- Best Male Performance - Jim Carrey
- Best Kiss - Jim Carrey & Ewan McGregor
- Best Dance Scene - Jim Carrey & Ewan McGregor (dancing in jail with shouting/fight on the background)
- Best Shocking Moment - Jim Carrey doing the cowboy-riding thing.
