I was watching the original YMCA song
I'd love to see a Jim Carrey
parody version
done with some of his buddies

Christmas Question:
Just putting the Christmas angel on tree
The question is:
Why does the Christmas angel look
like a female when
I think Gabriel was male
Also Moroni, an angel was male.
In Daniel 3 there was a fourth man
in the furnace - an angel

There's a book called
Angels of the Bible by NIrV at
www.zondervan.com
kinda cute
neat stories about angels

lol.......it's to do with the classical tradition of the Italian Renaissance .... they all have that fair and beautiful look. Blame the artists of the time...Botticelli and Raphael were masters of the look...... back in the day real folk weren't so lovely, Smallpox and Syphilis saw to that...... They feminised the males to create a kind of universal beauty... the artists and their patrons were very much working to the ideal artistic standards of the time.......it took the likes of Leonardo, Carravagio and Michaelangelo to throw some realism into the pot....
( my art history degree hasn't gone to waste (note of sarcasm)....lmao   )
