Postby Canadian Jayne » Sat Sep 07, 2019 7:15 pm

After learning 7 Nation Army song
I figured it would be fun to
Go to a Drumfest
So
Her i am outside of
London
Enjoying 70 plus drums
All beating together

Soooooooo awesome
There were 76 or more drum sets
In a valley at a conservation area
Sun came out just as we arrived
As we were on bikes we could
Hear the synchronized beats
Calling us there
Simply amazing
There was a guitarist to start
Them off and lead drummers
Some did solos later

Also near the end a
Band came in and did some
50 and 60 s music
Some brought big bongos
Just the synchronization of
Everyone together
There were new people just learning
Who just had basics but still stayed in time
Men women and children
Duos trios
Awesome awesome awesome

you're in London? I hope the capital is treating you well :D ...Will you get a chance to visit anywhere else while you're over here?
I love it when they get a large group of drummers out to perform in the street...it makes you want to dance into the shops....lol

London Ontario
Completely out in the country
Trees nature all around
Of course I was dancing
And A few others
What a great day
It was not too loud
For me
Trees absorbed some sound
And lots of room for growth

Once we were a part
Of the "Colonies"
Now we are Canada
And alot if English Irish and
Scottish names
Infiltrated our hills and valleys
Towns, areas depending on
What group if people were first
Settled
