Disc Golf and beautiful breeze

Postby Canadian Jayne » Mon May 25, 2020 2:46 pm

Tried out Disc Golf
Only made it half-way thru course
But hey
It was my first time
But I used a Frisbee
My average was 10 tries
Per basket
Being outside in park like setting
Few people around

Did our distancing
We we about 200ft
From people
Now I understand why
People like regular golf
But I would be horrific with a club
Nice breeze tho
Had to be careful around
Poison ivy

Have to find something
To do until Jims book comes out
Overall good day
But
Torontonians may
Have had diffuculty distancing
If adults have problems now
Sure glad the kids aren't
Going back to school yet

But really in this day and age
Many people can't afford a
Summer home or cabin
in cottage Country,
having an affordable house
In Toronto is very difficult
Thats why i moved away
Parks are the only means of
Sunshine for some

We're pretty lucky in Scotland......we're never more than 70 miles from the coast and we're full of mountains and rivers. Even in the busiest of cities they planned them to have lots of parks and green spaces. It's not in our culture to have cabins because we live so close to the hills and glens...........i'm desperate for a campervan though.....just a wee one with a built in loo/shower/washing facilities........ :D

Its a blessing to be able
To enjoy the amazing outdoors
