Jim Varney: Ernest P. Worrel anyone?

Postby Edward Nygma » Wed Dec 15, 2004 9:27 pm

Some of you might already know Jim Varney: he played Ernest P. Worrel in a series of low budget comedies: Ernest Goes To Camp, Ernest Goes to School, Ernest Goes To Africa...

Even though his films always look cheap and he never really made it, I've always liked him because of his rubber face and one liners! He was a kind of older Jim Carrey and sometimes could be very funny.
I recommend Ernest Goes to Camp.

Oh my dad used to get the Earnest movies for me and my cousin when we were younger! So many memories! It's a shame he died tho :( . I liked Jim Varney in the Beverly Hillbillies too.
