oh yeah!
I have not only a reading barrier, but also a writing barrier, a watching barrier and a moving barrier.
Without speaking about a thinking barrier...

Resident Evil 1 and 2. I am a Resident Evil - fan and don't like these movies as RE movies very much because they have nearly nothing to do with the story of the games but as normal zombie movies they are okay (but I hate Michelle Rodriguez).

Fluffy gave me her insomnia. Actually, it was a bad thunderstorm at 4 this morning. I made the mistake of leaving my bedroom window open just a bit because I love the smell of rain and the atmosphere changed and we had that weird sort of tangible/intangible air pressure phenomenon that preceeds a tornado and I panicked a little and turned on the TV...but it was too early for warnings. No tornados as far as I know...but sleep is probably going to elude me for another hour or so...'till the endorphins calm a little.
So I'm watching "Phantom of the Opera" again. I watched it for the very first time the day before yesterday. It was SO enjoyable. Minnie Driver is just surprisingly great and, now, I know WHO Emmy Rossum is.
Gerard Butler does a nice job as the Phantom. He's easy to look at. I'm kind of sad that I had a chance to see this when I was in London...but the drama mamas referred to with contempt as "Phantom" and insisted it was crass and commercial, so I could never get anyone to go with me...and hey....I'll go to a movie alone, but NOT a West End musical.
Anyway, it's good now. And maybe I'm even a little sleepy.

National Treasure-DVD--my son bought it a couple of days ago. It was a fun movie--easy to watch--I loved the clues, they were super cool, and the acting was well done, I thought. I thought the bad guys weren't stupidly bad and the good guys weren't over-done heroes. End was gratifying...won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it....

Thanks for the recommendation!
I was just cleaning the floor with the first Ace Ventura in the background. I am not in love with this movie, but the scene in bed with all the animals and The Tokens playing in the background made me giggle.
So I took my last swig of coffee from this cup and got up to pour another.
Just as the scene at the door with the line "I'm looking for Ray Finkel and a clean pair of shorts" happened.
I laughed so hard that I choked on the last bit of coffee, doubled over and spat it all over the floor.

hehe same here, but I haven't seen Hitch yet. I'm going to see Madagascar for the second time tomorrow. The last movie I saw was Lion King 2, not as good as the first, but I still love it. I love the songs in the first movie.

It was pretty good at the Theatre. Jane was great, I hope she's in more movies.
