Eart thought his mama was nuts at first, then he remembered watching
Oprah, Oprah knows Jim, so Earl phoned Oprah and told her the
story.(actually he just left a message on her telephone show line)

coincedence............off air Jim told me all about his dalience with a big ape.........but he never mentioned a 'child'..........perhaps he doesn't know..........'

Carefully Oprah planned the reunion, she was unsure how Jim
would take things until...

Jim called up & said i couldnt come coz i have loose motions.

so Ophrah thoughtfully sent round a flunky with 5 packets of immodium.......there was NO-WAY he was getiing out of this one.....Ophrah was counting on it to shatter the viewing records....the world wanted to see 'monkey boy' and Ophrah was determined to give the world what it wanted!!!

Finally, after stalling for what seemed like an eternity, Jim showed up to the Oprah soundstage. Father looked at son, son looked at father. There was an immediate bond between the two. Earl began to speak.

i have your face dad...............he said, reaching out shyly, to tenderly touch his fathers cheek..........

dad kissed his son & started weeping.

(AAWWW, Now this is getting sad.) (I wonder if Jim is reading this? )


"There's something wrong with my arm," said Jim. "Uh-oh! It's the claw!" Earl looked at his father with bewilderment. "Uuumm, don't do that again," replied Earl.

You think it's sad? Sounds like a great reunion to me.

Maybe "sad" was a poor choice of words. "Sentimental, mushy, or emmotional" may have been a better choice. But oh well, on with the story.

'Dad' said Earl...........i have something to tell you.....i am a twin!!.....i have a sister who looks like mum........but life was hard for her , it wasn't easy being a 6ft 10 year old with a gorillas face.....so mum sent her to be with grandma and grandpa in the jungle. But hunters came, and they had to run for their lives, i've not heard from them for 8 years.....please help me dad!........We have to find Sally, my sister.......

your daughter. Jim hesitated, unsure what it would be like suddenly
having two more children, he wondered how Jane would take having a
sister, especially a part-gorilla sister. But Jim new what he had to do.
He had to....

The DNA results came back a little late and revealed that Jim was really
NOT the father, but the gorilla Mama wanted so much for his son to be
taken care of in style, Jim quite releaved, trying to remember the night
with the gorilla, searching his memory, thankfully it never happened and
he had compasion for Earl but said to him...
"Tuff luck ol' man, maybe I can help you find you're real dad"
So he gave Earl some contacts and Earl set off on his journey to find his
real dad. Mummy had to review in her mind all the passionate trysts,
although here memory was a little foggy since at that time she enjoyed
the effects of the wacky tabbacy and the sauce so remembering was
pretty near impossible.
Earl's quest was going to be a tough one.
