I have chameleon in my brain.
One day it's pink,
Then blue again.
Others need me to be pink.
And when I'm blue it's hard to think.
There is a kernel in me though,
That won't give up to worried woe.
If I believe in thinking pink.
I can escape the bluey brink.
"When in doubt, tell the truth."

Buck up! quirky.
Let's start a pink petition for blue's removal
Ask Tommy to bust the blue and bring pretty pink
Would pink tinted glasses do the trick
Tell the chameleon he looks dreadful in blue
Or hit his head with the kernel till he turns pink

Some days your kernel is just tired.
What's up? (You don't have to do it in poetry form, though iambic pentameter might be fun.)

I dunno(learnt new word). Have be half alive too, today. It's getting worse. Previously laughing made me feel better. Now I have to laugh to avoid being blue. I think its accelerated aging. I may wake up tomorrow to find I have to laugh just to get in my car. Dementia?

I have that problem, too. There's always SOMETHING to make me a little bit happy, though. Like the fact that the gerbera daisy is growing and it's more vibrant than last year!
Sometimes I get so caught up in the big picture that I forget to delight in the little moments.
If you and I both get dementia we'll have to make sure we wind up in the same facility, k? Because then we would write meaningful poetry that only we understood on the bathroom walls.

Hey!! I wrote this poem! He stole it from me!!! I cant believe it!
(I really did)lol
Binx is actually an older account I used to have , It was saved on my home computer and I forgot that it was, I haven't posted anything from that account in a long time I'll remember to change it to Jimenem as soon as I can. Sry about the confusion.

Who set up the karmic scale with its demand,
That some must fall because others can stand?
I'd like to thwart this feeling like an ant.
And who's to say that I surely someday can't?
For now I look at the scale up in the sky.
The coulds have it at even and when I
imagine that it tips slightly my way,
I find myself in another groundhog day.

As the sun slips behind the mountain and twi'light fills the air.
My mind starts to wonder whats beyond what isn't there?
Crickets gently starting to sing, As the birds lay down to rest.
My mind simply asks, "Whats better than the best?"
A star shows up in all it's glory, accenting the moon.
My mind starts to nag "C'mon lets go watch a cartoon!"
As the moon is shining brightly, and the stars are starting to peep.
My mind really doesn't care, because it's fast asleep.

I would also like to play, by nay!
One more head would spoil the day
Head down I sulk away, in dismay
I should not crave comfort unreachable
that's making other joys undelectable
I'm irked, my heart is just not stable
And now I'm held in a giant bear hug
that melts the pain and makes me snug
Voila! You always cheer me up!

Let me assure you, innocent reader, lest you should think otherwise, the poem's about a game I couldn't play due to bad shoulder

If your shoulder's feeling bum,
How about a shot of rum?
You can curl up on the couch,
And act like a certain grouch.
The green one on a special show,
With his home in the can below.
I always wanted to live with him,
But life in a can would be too grim.
We knew despite his grouchy ways,
He loved us and brightened many days.
And not to be all willy nilly,
But sometimes I wanted him to slap Cookie Monster silly.
"When in doubt, tell the truth."

But cookie monster ROCKED!!! I looved cookie monster. But grover was my absolout favorite!!
There once was a pupett named grover
Who taught kids as they got older
Sounded just like Yoda
Improved Sesame Streets Quota
And showed us the letters when the show was over.

I was getting in touch with my inner grouch.
My inner grouch needs to be petted.
