Western Missouri weather is so dull, It's always predictable, (though it seems, not by weather men) It's hot in the summer cold in the winter, and nice in the spring and fall. Woo Hoo, So exciting, and spontanious!!
Uh Oh, Here comes rain!
The weather is no longer the same ... thanks global warming!!!
I visited South America two weeks ago and it was warm... at spring/summer time temperatures and it was supposed to be winter time... freezing (at least for their standards!) I am now in New England ... last week was cold, rainy, but today the weather is warm, nice ... as it was supposed to be. Lesson learned: pack clothes for all 4 seasons when you travel... traveling light will become impossible!
Scottish rule .......wear a coat, a jumper and a t-shirt or a shirt underneath.....then if it rains you have your coat....gets warmer take it off...even warmer your down to your t-shirt........lol.....
any warmer is unheard of.......lol fluffy Fluffy
You know...it is and it isn't. This year we're really lacking rain. But I remember this same weather as a kid. I was just out in it more. "When in doubt, tell the truth."
Mark Twain
Another rule if you're approaching 40:
Dress in layers regardless of the weather, because chances are you're going to feel hot and cold throughout the day, and it will have nothing to do with global warming. Oye!
I am always dressed in layers... I keep carrying sweters around... sleveless rarely... I think that I am getting older much earlier than I thought ... oh boy, that's not good!
... and I just got a sore throat because of airconditioning... outdoors -- it is hot, humid; indoors -- it is generally freezing because of the damn machines... please open the windows and let the breeze get in, will you?
i saw the CNN weather report tonight..........109 degrees in Las Vegas......... ..........that's like being on Mercury!!!!
We Brits pass out if it gets into the late 70's.......... the hospitals beome choked with heatstoke idiots who kept their coats on............. fluffy Fluffy
but vegas is a "dry" heat LOL...when i was there last it got to 115 and with the wind blowing it felt (i imagine) like being in a convection oven. i'll take vegas over 95F with 85% humidity but unfortunately that's what summers are like here in the south...whew! it's too hot for clothes!
(it's nice today though, it's still raining from dennis - that kind of humidity i like )
We're in a heat wave here! It's freakin' hot with high humidity. 35C, 41C with the humidity. I'm not sure what that translates to in fahrenheit, I'd have to look on a thermometer.
It's very dry. We haven't had a good amount of rain in more than a month.
