My cousin's girlfriend asked today...."what are you going to do?"
I said, "Well....I CAN'T stress out about it".

I got my meds last night about 6. I feel slightly better.
Today in the mail came all my mail from home. Thank you for the sweet card Jiminem.
There are hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. And a letter from the state saying I'm not entitled to any assistance because I'm not disabled.
Iwon'tcryIwon'tcryIwon'tcry.
I wish I hadn't gotten sick.
On the flip side. Poetry.com send me a letter saying they were giving me the Editor's Choice Award.
im glad thats you are feeling better....i hope this doesnt make you feel worse...actually this makes me feel better....they only hand out 40 editors choice in the word every 3 months....it makes me feel so special wheni had found out i was one of the lucky people in the world out of the 40 that had gotten an editiors choice.........you shouldnt read my poems though.....very good....but very dark. if you know my full name....dont post my stuff on here......i dont want everyone readin it.;

The editors choice award! Congrats. They only give out 40 a year?? Wow, I've got 3.
Quirky, your situation sounds VERY frustrating, how do they expect your mood to stay "up" When they do this to you?? Anyway, I know it's easier said than done but DON'T stress out. You'll be OK everything always turns out for the best.

I finally felt the fog kind of lifting on Saturday. And I was kind of amazed because in comparison, I was baaaaaaad.

Me? Naughty bad?
My cousin is trying to fix me up with one of his coworkers. I'll keep you updated.
What I meant was, now that I have the other med....I really am feeling better.
I went out Saturday night and was in a redneck bar (with cousin and GF) and there was Metallica on the jukebox.
It was really on my nerves, so I had to go play other music. I picked:
Tom Petty - American Girl
Rusted Root - Send Me on my Way
The Tokens - The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls
Louis Armstrong - Wonderful World.
And my cousin said to his friends: "You'll have to excuse my cousin, she has a bad habit of coming into a place and playing all the obscure music."
"When in doubt, tell the truth."

I heard from my caseworker today and I apologized for my snarkiness with him the other day. (He bore partial responsibility, though.) He is in the middle of working some magic, so I'm relieved a little.
I have more ambition. The other night my cousin requested my cream of broccoli soup, so I made it and fresh salsa. Now the kitchen floor needs scrubbing, so that'll be one of this afternoon's projects. His girlfriend said, "The Swiffer's in the hall closet." I said, "You cannot swiff the KITCHEN!"
I'm a little perturbed that only half my clothes are here and my blue jeans are not in the lot.
And if I could stop getting teary during love songs, I'd be happier.

It's this cleaning device that kind of shoots cleaner on the floor and then sort of wipes it up.
