I have seen both episodes and I think this new show is GREAT! It is not one of those formula sitcoms and last night I sat in the living room alone watching it and I laughed until I cried.
I don't think that's happened since "Friends" went off the air.
What do you guys think?

I love this show too! It has a little bit of Raising Arizona but without the yodeling... but Jason lee is always great, even Jaime Preslley is funny and I personally can't stand her. This show can only get better and I know I was instantly hooked. I think if you watched the same episode 5 times you'd get more out of it as the jokes are rapid fire, both verbal and visual. Genius comedy writing/acting. L-O-V-E it! And having The Office on right after it is the perfect aperitif!

I gotta admit. I don't like "The Office".
When Earl was listening to the "stop smoking" tape and the arrows were hitting the fence around him.....I was just rolling.

I was laughing when Earl's friend's mother whacked him upside the head with the giant, large type Bible. The crossbow part was really funny too.

And the carrots. The carrots slew me.
I wish you could see it too, Jayne!!!

Jayne, you can an idea here, they have some video trailers and show synopsis here

The carrot bit was funny. Earl and his friend's mom were trying to quit smoking and someone told them they needed to switch to carrot sticks. The next shot is the two of them on the couch trying to light the ends of their carrots...

although I can't get the channel, to all those who can,
consider yourself fortunate.
I shall continue to await your update on the show, it sounds really funny.

Poor Jayne. Dang.
At least we can pretty accurately predict that it will be around long enough to go into syndication and make it to Canada.
