EARTHQUAKE IN ONTARIO

Postby Canadian Jayne » Mon Oct 24, 2005 6:38 pm

There was an earthquake last week in Ontario, near the Bruce Penninsula, close to where we were trying out the Scuba Boat, I was so glad we hadn't gone up the following week. But the ironic thing was that on the Friday I walked out on my porch and I heard a stream outside my door. There's a stream down the street but not outside the door. Lo and behold tiny rivelets of water was was coming out from under the road. A water pipe had broken, that night I found out that some water mains had broken in St. Thomas and London, anyone else have water mains break in South Western Ontario from Tobermory down to Lake Erie? Anyone else out there have the same experience. On the news they said there was no damage, I call breaking water mains damage, especially when the weather was above Zero, I could understand if it was a freezing night but it wasn't. When a disaster happens in one area there is always a ripple affect. Earthquakes up here are very unusually.

But it was an unusual happening. I looked up on the Earthquake site and actually there are alot of earthquakes going on around the world,
this earthquake was felt, I think the radius was quite large, the report said even people in Toronto felt it, which is quite a ways. No one was hurt, that I know of. Fairly mild, just unusual.

I got to experience a small earthquake in Illinois last year. It happened at about 1 in the morning.

They're also convinced the Bird Flu will wipe the earth. We don't get earthquakes or hurricanes, so i don't know how it affects people. All i know is that it sucks!

only problem, no food, we don't need it if we don't have a body, can we still dance around if we don't have a body, can't smell the flowers cause you have no smell or nose. We could probably see each other and be in the same place but what would we do other than converse. I sure hope there's fun music in heaven or the spirit world. I don't think I'm ready to leave this earth life yet, it would be nice to see everyone together but this is just as good for now, can't see each other but we can talk to each other.
I see very few people outside just going for a walk and appreciating the beauty of the earth. Just a handful of us. Are we really taking time to smell the flowers, walk along the beach, see how beautiful this world really is.
