WHen I find myslef flipping through those channels I end up getting mezmorized by something and think "I should watch this more often"

I watch two really cool shows on History, one was the archeologist excavation of Sodom and Gomorrah. Brilliant show. The scholors involved found two sister cities that were destroyed unilaterally, lots of human remains huddle in tombs that were formally dwellings. They ran DNA tests and the bones contained high residue of syphyllis. The leader decided to halt all further excavation for religious reasons. He was so overwhelmed by the spriritual experience, is reason was God did not want him doing to be there. The other show was about 'Code Breaking' in the Torah and Bible. Scholors from Oxford, Isreal, and other Universities were recouting the scientific statistatical analysis or word placement in the Torah and Bible that could predict such events as Hilter, Stalin, Pok, Kennedys, 9/11, and other events. Fascinating show. God has each word so perfectly written, that all is already planned and presented in the written word for us to keep.

Friends
The Awful Truth
Cold Case

I got tired of Gilmore Girls... Rory doesn't behave like a 20-year-old...it seems that she is still 16!

I haven't caught any of the new season--I'm usually watching reruns of something else!! Is it disappointing?

To tell you the truth I haven't watched it for awhile. But, I watched it for about 15 min last week when Rory had a hearing (no sure why...) and was supposed to do community services... that scene was just strange having the grandparents there, who were just all over the places because she would have that on her records... and she had such a childish demeanor... I liked the program more when she was at Chilton...she and her mother had a great relationship... but, you know, kids do grow up...

Hmmmm... I like CSI...

Can we live without TV? Can we live without computers? I read this article on a college newspaper while ago in which this 20-year-old student was trying to experiment life without technology -- something hard for her generation. She gave up cell phone, computer access and ipod for the unbelivable period of one day! At the end of that day she actually realized that her dependency on technology was getting out of control and she really liked the experience of spending more face-to-face interaction with her friends, etc... I thought about it and decided to give my old TV set to charity and I haven't bought another one yet. It's been a week now... I had a problem with my PC during the same period and stayed offline for awhile... So, last week I experienced the "outdoors" life more intensely, read more, and went to bed earlier... it was not bad at all...

Life WAS simpler when I was little and there were only four channels.
