I wish I were more disciplined...It just feels awful... I started a diet ... not to lose weight, but to eat better... fresh food, fruits, cereals... the first week went well, then... no need to tell. Start exercising to boost energy and tone up the body... first week... great! following week... you tell... So, I am in need of advice on how to keep it up wit the discipline. I think that I am motivated, but do not have the discipline of carrying out regular/structured diet and exercises.
I am not on a diet but have not ate meat in a week. I vowed never to eat meat ever again. It takes time..day by day you will do better- Motivation comes from within..if you really want it-you have to see it and feel it and you will have it. Just my opinion.
Bah hum bug!!!!
The key...its the voluntary...yes.. work for me ; its hard but work; reduce the food with much calories, you can eat it, but less calories, only the weekends( sundays and saturdays); is the key . Belive me is the best form from lost weight and you no have any sacrifice , and you lose weight

Thank you guys... I am not much concerned about losing weight ... I am 5'8" and weigh 140 ... and I do not feel the pressure to be that skinny... but I want to boost my energy level... my life has been too sedentary and I want to change it... and be healthier... for that I need discipline... I've tried the gym ... regular classes didn't work... Am I a lost case? I hope not... I will try to keep up my motivation and push myself a little (or a lot)!
Ugh, I tried that. I feel like I could look better and people tell me I'm crazy. I have no idea how many times I've tried to maintain a healthy diet with exersize. Its hard for me... so when you find the motivasion, fill me in...
What makes you weak is what makes me stronger.

Oh... I'd love to go back... I visited Chichen Itza and climbed up to the top of the pyramid; it felt just amazing; it was difficult to go back down the narrow steps, though... I couldn't go too far away inside it ... it made me feel clautrosphobic... the food was really good and the people was welcoming!
Uauuuu 20 yrs.... Well, I do not eat red meat regularly; i think the last time I had it was at a friend's barbecue over the summer!
..but when you're dieting aren't you already denying something you love? Like, um....Twinkies or Klondike bars or Reese's peanut butter cups?

I used to be sooo concerned about my weight. I tried every imagineable diet. Lost a bunch of weight and god bless the doctor who prescribed something and I gained massive weight in 6 months. I finally realized. There's more to life than a scale. So, I keep moving and decided not to beat myself up anymore. I'm a little pudgie around the midde, but its temporary. So... what are you going to do? Have a wonderful day! Smile and pretend not to notice your a little 'larger' than everyother woman. I too wish I was more disciplined. But I'd rather play, than go to a gym 5 days a week.
... and belgian chocolate! You know... I do not deprive myself of these goodies... I prefer to have some than nothing, because I know that I will have too much later anyway... I learned with the French: good quality, small quantity!
