 .............lol.............

(ahhhh........y'see,.......there's more to this pussycat than meets the eye.........lol )

but it's true............we need to look beyond the facade........and only then can we truely fall in love........

not only with others but with ourselves........

for without loving/accepting ourselves, we will never truely be able to love another.......

Fluffy... you are so inspired today... are you in love, girl? ... that you love yourself I have already noticed.

Yeah... you are right... and unfortunately people are just missing this important aspect of life... good life...

i stopped by a newsstand today and browsed the cover of the magazines... they were mostly about looks, looks, and looks... that shallowness that you mentioned earlier... there is so much more to life than that!

What I find amusing, maybe its just a California thing (or a US thing) is that so much depends upon someone's looks (and/or weight) i.e. I refer to the old blind date referral, but he/she has a great personality. I purposely seek those who are usually found in the corner. Metaphorically speaking. Their lives are so interesting because they have been hurt and they are better for it. (Whether it be weight issues, severe acne, glasses, bald head, disabilities, shy, etc) Their heart expands as they have overcome the need to look perfect, which is such a joke.., Yeah, you can buy pretty face and implant a new body with silicon and botox, but can you accept yourself they way you are? And can you accept others for who they are or what they look like? Generally what can bothers someone most is a character defect that you yourself have. So get over it. I guess I just need to get on soap box today. I had a tet-a-tet with a person who apparently never makes mistakes, or at least that's what she want me to know.

well i've never been to the US ...........but from what i learn from Morgan Spurlock there is a major weight problem there.............but how does that compare with CA..........??............
when you see the pics of CA girls in the industry they all seem to fit the skinny, Busty fake blonde stereotype...........
now i know there are real women too.........CP11 and JT for a start......but in the UK we are really given the impression that it's a fake environment overall...............
In the UK it seems that looks ain't the panacea..........people have to have a personality and charm too................add to that wit and a sharp mind and we have our stars.......................are we more fussy over here??? ..........
Thick stars, no matter how cute, end up ridiculed..............we nail em!!...........
Are CA women funny too??...........as a generalisation of course.........but do they have a natural wit and charm??..............or is it fabricated??
(leaving JT and CP11 outa this of course  )......

it's interesting.......

Hurdle two got jumped yesterday.

I went back "home". My three hour drive turned into a 4 1/2 hour drive because I hit traffic.

Grandma cried. That always guts me.

No. Not with happiness.
She said, "I miss you so"....and started tearing up.

I hate that I've made her go through this.

I don't think wit and charm CAN be fabricated!! Even though pictures in the media show a stereotype, we are just as hard on our stars here in Ca and across the nation as folk across the 'pond'.....we have no patience for boring people......which is why I think so many celebrity "beauties" create so much drama in their personal lives---it is all they have to keep the public interested!!!

Hang in there, Quirky.....*sneaks into the group huggle and sighs*
