Blimey schools have been shut, people advised to stay indoors........

10,000 tonnes of soot have spewed into the atmosphere........and still it rages on, In all it's potentially Carcinogenic hell.........

it's like an Airborn Exonvaldiese............Are any of our JCO members affected?

Apparently it's the biggest European explosion since the war.........

I'm fine. We've been told we're gonna get black rain here, and major pollution, so I'm glad I'm spending my birthday indoors.

I'm not in London. I live an hour or so away.

Im fine thank you...the black cloud is on its way down to the West country from the satalite picture I saw. My god it was one hell of an explosion, amazing that no one was killed.

The flames are out now. That was quick! Gosh, the fire service must have been on their toes! I was expecting it to last a LOT longer!

Thanks for the link, Fluffy.....I hope everyone is ok. Thank goodness it wasn't toxic. Smoke is really hard on the human body though too......yuk.
