She doesn't get much sleep-she- taking care of them herself.
I have 1 Golden Retriever-2 years old. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old-and 7 pounds. For the first month-I had to get up, at night, every two hours and carry the puppy into the bathroom where she could go Potty on her WEE-WEE PAD or the floor-when that happened I cleaned it up right away. Afterwards, I carried her, sat back in my wheelchair, and went back to my bed.
No-she wouldn't go right to sleep. She wanted to play or pull my hair. I gave her a rawhide bone and covered my head. She started chewing and fell asleep after five minutes.
During the day, I had to take her into the bathroom every 45 minutes.
The next month-I got a little more sleep because I just had to get up with her three times during the night.
I started to take her outside during the day.
At 4 months-I just had to get up with her once at night. In the morning, I just threw on pants, shoes, jacket, and snow hat and took her outside.
At five months, she could hold it during the night. During the day-she was up to 1 1/2 hours.
Now, after all this time-I can say that it was completely worth it. She is so sweet--and has no accidents in the house.
I just had one-and couldn't imagine having 3 golden retrievers. Mine is about 60 pounds now
