School ExamsYeah, so i was telling everyone that i couldn't write anything because i was too busy with exams, but that's all over, so i'm back and ready for action! Metaphorically speaking of course. Anyway, i really hope i did good, but i won;t find out for another two weeks...i'm so paranoid!
(This should be in the Off Topic section - not the Speakeasy - the Speakeasy is for Jim topics that don't fit anywhere else)
Hope that your exams went well, and welcome back! Muse - 10, 11, 14, 22 & 23 November 2006
Muse - Wembley Stadium - 16 & 17 June 2007 Muse - Royal Albert Hall - 12 April 2008 Muse - 10 November 2009 & 13 November 2009 Muse - 11 September 2010
Paranoia, not bad thing! I was never good at test, I froze up; same with speeches. The night before I would get sick, and would not sleep. Test anxiety. I would bomb every test, SAT was a nightmare. Now, ten minutes after the test. Every answer would magically re-appear, and my retention of infomation is mindblowing. It used to frustrate me until I realized it was he type of test. I can't do multiple choice (fill in the bubble) but essay- no problem.
Lol, gosh that is soooooo true! I used to be so knowledgeable about a lot of things, and now I think I am master of none!!! Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
You cram your brain full of stuff before you hit the exam hall, then as soon as you leave, your memory will not hold onto stuff that it does not practically require.
I guess there's logic there somehow! And you try and remember all that stuf,f you knew by heart, in a pub quiz, years later........ Everybody should believe in something.

finals are crazy... i was staying up until one for two weeks, one week for a project, the other for finals. it's even more strange for me because when i study, sometimes it feels like the info is going in one ear and out the other. and the stuff that DOES get left in the brain all gets flushed down the toilet 5 min. before the test....well, i'm glad its all over...at least for this semester..
evy
Good note taking, that's the key. And then going over your stuff again and again, condensing it down into chunks you can memorise and use as bulletpoints to jog your memory later. It's about organising a lot of information into manageable sections.
At least that's what worked for me. Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
i have the school period exam, yet ( its a living hell); i dont finish yet, ( two weeks more)

I had a Statistics class that was (required) and I knew it was going to be a long semester. I had to buy a special calculator, that drew graphs, and had a owners manual thicker than most college text books. Toughest course I ever took. I kept wondering how on earth did they ever study this topic before calculators? Two pages for one mathematical equation! I left with a B+; I don't think I slept that semester, and alot of nights I cried because I was so tired of 'computing' crunching numbers.
But now you feel better yourself.
