I think she asked for advice, and that is what she got. It is up to her if she wants to take it. I'm assuming that when she said "only a hoe would do that", she wasn't talking about you, if she is your friend.

Huh?

I drive slow...just call me a low rider I guess. lol ...But I wouldn't mind going fast as long as I can trust the driver.
Was this meant to distract? and question: Where do you drive to, and why such the hurry?

I'm going to forgive you this time Fluffy... lol because I know it's about 2 a.m. in Scotland right now and you're not thinking clearly.

Thanx for the advice. Since you all have been so nice, i feel obligated to tell you the conclusion of this wonderful 'tale': I have since talked to my friend, and to my surprise realized that she no longer considers me her 'best friend'. But what shocked me even more, is that the person she does consider her best friend(who is 15), went sneaking out of the house at three in the morning to meet a guy(24, and she had just met) he drove her out of the state and they had sex in the back of his car! That is so unbelieveable!
Isn't that illigal! It's like, abduction and rape that he could be charged with! And out of all the people my 'friend' knows, i am the hoe? I am finding this very hard to believe.
Anyway, thanks for all the advice. And i completely agree with you, Michele Hernandez, and think that if she didn't really want my advice, then she shouldn't have asked for it...i mean, after all, she knows me well enough to know that i don't lie, even if the truth is brutal...at least i thought she did.

It is illegal, and I think he should be charged, in my opinion. Maybe she can talk to a counselor about it or her parents.

Yeah, i understand all that...and she didn't use protection, her parets did find out and made her switch school districts (big deal, it's not as if he's in school still) and i don't really think she regrets it because i recently went to her myspace and its totally whored-out! But what bothers me the most is that her parents know, and they aren't going to try and charge him with anything because she voluntarily did it, and from what i heard today at school, more then once. I i would like to say that i want him hung out to dry, but it isn't as if he really raped her, she did it because she wanted to, which i think is what really disturbs me the most.

Actually it is still considered raped, even if she begged him for it. A lot of people think that way, like not charging these guys, because of what it might put the girl through. But in my opinion the message is stronger to the young girls when we do nothing, and they will only blame themselves. I think if someone sticks up for the girls' dignity, it teaches them to be strong and have self-worth. It would be like a message from her parents that they would really fight on her behalf, and teach the girl that it is OK to talk about it even in court, but it is not OK what he did. But MANY people disagree with me. And the men just think they can get away with it, knowing that the girl may feel bad about herself.

On the otherhand I don't think there is really anything WRONG with your friend, maybe she just needs someone to really care about her.

And this situation sounds really different from a good relationship, where the two individuals really care about each other. That might be different. But it sounds like the guy really set it up just to use her, the way you described it. I think his intentions make a big difference.

I guess I went overboard on that one Jimmie, but it is just because I've seen a lot of stuff I disagree with- I lived right in San Francisco for five years, and saw stuff like teenage prostitutes on the street, and the pimps not even being charged for exploiting them...I happen to know this, and the girls end up getting blamed.

I guess all you can do is try to protect yourself, just be careful :D

I completely understand your opinion, and agree with it on some level. And thax for being worried, but my 'friend'(who i haven't talked to since then) is really the one who needs to be worried about. I know that you said that she probably needs someone to talk to, and i know, and i would be talking to her if she had realized that she had made a mistake, but the thing is, she hasn't changed her ways, and is giving countless guys at her new school whatever they want. I don't know, i guess i'm just really disappointed. I've told her(in our one and only brief conversation since then) that if she wants to be popular at her new school, that is not the way to go aboput getting it....her ego just totally blew up, and i don' really understand why, because it's like she's basking in the glory of being a whore-this doesn't make any sence to me. #-o

There's a lot of truth to it,
I was actually on my own since the age of 16. I think I know what you mean, the Sparta people were supposed to become really strong, it was part of their culture?
but what is 'none things', I don't get that part Anna. Life is about learning I suppose, and we learn by experience. I was very athletic too, and did all kinds of stuff at that age...and I still do.
