MPAA Rating
25 Jan 2007 By Nicola West (Editor/Writer (UK))
For those awaiting the rating of "The Number 23" the wait is over! The movie has been assigned an 'R' rating.
For those unsure of the implications:
Restricted-Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian (age varies in some locations). This signifies that the rating board has concluded that the film rated contains some adult material.
In the case of "The Number 23" the 'R' rating is for violence, disturbing images, sexuality and language.
In Europe however, we are currently led to believe the rating will be a '15'.
