Jim signs up for "Pierre Pierre"
06 Mar 2008 By Nicola West (Editor/Writer (UK))
Continuing his recent prolific bout of film making, Jim Carrey is set to team up with "Juno" director Jason Reitman on a comedy titled "Pierre Pierre." Jim will play a flamboyant French nihilist who has the job of transporting a stolen 'Mona Lisa' and in the process falls back in love with France.
"Pierre Pierre" will not be Reitman or Jim's next project but it is being eyed as a potential vehicle after the possible actors strike in the summer. Until then, Jim will be busy with 'I love you Philip Morris', due to begin filming in April and Reitman will continue to produce "Jennifer's Body," a dark comedy-horror written by "Juno" writer Diablo Cody.
It is set up at Fox Atomic, the genre arm of "Juno" distributor Fox Searchlight.
