According to The Hollywood Reporter, the troubled film release has actually been postponed by a Californian Court. Judge Dale Fischer has delayed the release because of a row between producers and distributors.
 EuropaCorp
Luc Bessons studio 'EuropaCorp' claims the original distributors, Consolidated Pictures, owes them $3m (2m). A 3 tier payment agreement had been set up, but EuropaCorp says it has yet to receive any cash and In April the French studio filed legal action against Consolidated, alleging breach of contract and copyright infringement.
So the wait continues pending the case absolution.
All being well, the film is now likely to be in theaters in October, instead of July.
