Jim Carrey in Talks For Heist Comedy "Loomis Fargo"

Variety reports that Jim Carrey is in talks to star in the action-comedy "Loomis Fargo".
The movie is based on the true story of four dim-witted Southerners who pulled off one of the biggest heists in American history, robbing $17 million from a Loomins Fargo armored truci.
Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) is directing, with Lorne Michaels and John Goldwin producing. The original script is by Emily Spivey which Danny McBride and Jody Hill then rewrote. The most recent version is by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer.
Relativity Media is in negotiations to finance and distribute the $30 million budgeted movie, which is looking to film in North Carolina in April 2013.
Jim Carrey is currently filming "Kick-Ass 2" as Colonel Stars in London. "Dumb & Dumber To" is also set to begin filming in April 2013. Get the latest news for his upcoming movies here.
