05 Nov 2017 By Eva Arajo (Web correspondent)
The time it takes for a movie to be released in theaters can be long. Thankfully that situation is more rare.
For many months and after being at a few festivals, the movie "True Crimes", was in April this year bought by Saban Films for distribution in USA.
Now the wait may be coming to an end. At least we hear news about the movie.
Mongrel Media and Saban Films, have created a partnership that will make Mongrel Media release many of Saban Films movies in 2018, in Canada. And of all the movies, Jim Carrey's "True Crimes", is in the package.
"We have developed a close partnership with Mongrel over the past couple years, having released 14 films with Andrew Frank and the rest of the team, and delivering strong numbers across the board," said Saban's Bill Bromiley. "We look forward to continuing our collaboration and working together for our 2018 slate."
That means that in 2018, both USA and now also Canada will get to see Jim Carrey's movie, after 2 years since the beginning of the production.
2018 will be an amazing year and we at JCO will keep you updated as more news come.
