Jim Carrey Art Exhibition in Montreal
05 Jun 2019 By Eva Arajo (Web correspondent)
Great news for all the Canadian fans of both art and Jim Carrey! The Phi Centre in Montreal (Qubec) will held an art exhibition of Jim Carrey's cartoons.
From June 20th to September 1st Jim's cartoon will be shown in a new exhibition called "This Light Never Goes Out: Political Cartoons by Jim Carrey".
There will be over 50 cartoons "() combining artistic talent with a social message. The exhibition demonstrates how creative civic engagement can influence public debate, a theme that runs through all exhibitions at Phi this summer. "I don't hate the subjects of my cartoons. I hate their unconsciousness. Expressing my feeling of outrage through my art on social media has allowed me to stand in solidarity with millions of kindred spirits," says Jim Carrey"
Jim's art has become a voice and an expression of many and we are very proud to see all of these cartoons shown.
Please! If you are near the area, don't miss it. Tickets are available now!
We at JCO will keep you updated as more news come.
