Mr. Limpet news
21 Jan 1999 The latest news on "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" are coming directly from Cedar Key, courtesy of The Cedar Key Beacon. In a statement to the newspaper given a couple of weeks ago, Jude Hagen, director of the Ocala Chamber of Commerce's Film Division, said that Jim Carrey was having some problems accepting the script and that the animators were also having trouble mixing the animation with a real person.
At least the script difficulties seem to have been overcome since The Cedar Key Beacon now reports that shooting is due to start in town next month and that a large barge is expected to arrive shortly, probably to be used for the water sequences.
Editor's Note: Our very special thanks to Mike Raftis from The Cedar Key Beacon, for giving us permission to use their Mr. Limpet news. To know more about Cedar Key, the location of Jim Carrey's latest project, visit The Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce site.
