We have uploaded a longer video clip from one of Jim Carrey's very rare movies. Never released on DVD or VHS, the TV movie - "Mike Hammer: Murder Takes All" (1989). You can see all Jim Carrey's parts (in order) in the clip as those are the best parts in the movie.
"Mike Hammer: Murder Takes All" stars Stacy Keach as Mike Hammer, Jim Carrey as Brad Peters and Lynda Carter as Helen Durant. It aired on CBS on May 21, 1989 and Jim Carrey looks young, dynamic and handsome!
Michael "Mike" Hammer is a fictional detective created by the American author Mickey Spillane in the 1947 book 'I, the Jury'. Several movies and radio and television series have been based on the books in the Hammer series. The actor most closely identified with the character has been Stacy Keach, who portrayed Hammer in three CBS television series, "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer", which ran from 1984�1987 and had a syndicated revival in "Mike Hammer, Private Eye" from 1997�1998. In the years between the Series several TV movies were made. "Mike Hammer: Murder Takes All" with Jim Carrey was the last TV movie.
Synopsis:
Mike Hammer (Stacy Keach) is asked by a Vegas entertainer to come to Vegas. Mike refuses, but then he is knocked out and taken to Vegas. He is told that the entertainer had him kidnapped, which the entertainer denies. Later the entertainer gets blown up and Mike is framed with planted evidence. Mike tries clear his name but everyone he talks to gets killed and he is suspected.
